New members welcome
Our women's section was re-formed in 2004/5, with players of a wide age and ability range. The growth of the ladies section, at a time when many clubs are folding, or shedding teams, has been phenomenal.
Our young ladies’ first team has rapidly moved through the Cambridge leagues to finish second in the Premier League last season. A place in the East league is their target for the 2009/10 season.
A formidable recruitment policy and a strong social and family side to the second team saw them achieve second place in Cambs. Div 2 last season and their second successive league cup final.
The ladies section of the club continues to grow by the day and welcomes all newcomers. Whether transferring from another club, taking up hockey for the first time or moving from or extending school hockey, both teams are always looking to increase their squads
The ladies teams are also a social bunch so watch this space for more info on the next blonde night out…
